I am an editor of academic and professional publications. In total, I have 15 years of professional experience working with production workflows for both digital and print publications. Of that experience, nearly 10 years has been specifically editorial, for titles in the arts and humanities, science and social sciences. Recently, I have edited non-fiction books and sub-edited professional membership magazines. I am also the current editor of an exploration diamond drilling magazine called Coring Magazine.
I have been an editor, sub-editor, copy-editor, proofreader, production editor, typesetter, house editor, lead editor, editorial assistant and front-end coder. In those roles I have steered websites, brochures, books, journals, loose-leafs, CD-ROMs and DVDs through production from start to finish. As a result, I have a thorough understanding of publishing technologies and practices, and the industry standards guiding these.
In short, I am an experienced and digitally savvy professional editor: here to find quality work and to provide a quality service!
