About Me
I’m a Glasgow-based freelance copyeditor, line editor and proofreader, CIEP-trained, with active publishing credits at Bloomsbury Academic and Peter Lang, and an ongoing editorial collaboration within the HarperCollins ecosystem. I hold an MA in Literary Studies.
Before moving into editorial work full time, I spent almost two decades as a Director of Operations and HR, with final responsibility for high-level business documentation. I bring the same precision and professional discipline to every manuscript I work on.
Copyediting and Proofreading
I specialise in nonfiction and narrative work at pre-production stage — academic monographs, memoir, political and research-informed nonfiction — working to publisher house style and delivering production-ready manuscripts to schedule.
Children’s Editorial
I have experience line editing picture books and writing educational fiction for younger readers across multiple genres.
