I have a BSc in Physiotherapy from Queen’s College, Glasgow (now part of Caledonian University), and worked as a Chartered Physiotherapist in both the NHS and private practice for 25 years, specialising in trauma and musculoskeletal disorders.
In 2011 I retrained as a proofreader and copy-editor, attending various courses run by Publishing Scotland and the Society for Editors and Proofreaders.
I have worked for a variety of publishers, organisations and individuals, including Cambridge University Press, HarperCollins, IB Tauris, Barnardo’s and the British Council.
I always work to an agreed budget and can offer an efficient turnaround time. All enquiries will be answered promptly and in confidence.
