I am a native British English speaker and have an MA Honours Degree in English Literature and Language (with Psychology to Higher Ordinary) from the University of Glasgow, with Post Graduates in Librarianship and Teaching in Further Education.
My Proofreading and Editing Qualifications:
Industry-recognised qualifications in proofreading from the Society of Editors and Proofreaders (SFEP) and the Publishing Training Centre (Merit in Basic Proofreading; Essential Copy Editing ).
Professional member of the Chartered Institute for Editing and Proofreading. I abide by their code of practice.
Published short story writer, novelist and self-publisher. I have gained experience in editing/critiquing within the G2 Writers’ Group. I am the 2024 Scriever for the Federation of Writers (Scotland)
